Fees for all clients are charged according to the Return To Work SA fee schedule. The scheduled rate is the average of all SA psychologists' charges and is updated approximately annually, often in July.

The fee for a standard 50 minute consultation is $242.40. 

Clients who are self-funded, accessing private health insurance or Medicare rebates, are required to make payment in full on the day of your appointment. This is completed via a secure zero touch process using Stripe.

Medicare rebates can be accessed by clients with a mental health care plan referral from their doctor. We must have a copy of the referral on file for you to be able to access the rebate.

Where applicable, information will be sent directly to Medicare at the conclusion of the appointment, so that rebates can be automatically deposited into your nominated bank account by Medicare, usually within 24-48 hours. The Medicare rebate is typically $96.95 (leaving a gap of $145.45) and applies to up to 10 sessions per calendar year.  

Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to process private health insurance rebates instantaneously, but are happy to provide a receipt to assist you in accessing reimbursement from your health fund. Please notify us before you leave your appointment if you would like to use this option, so that we can ensure that the correct health fund billing codes are displayed on your receipt, which will be emailed to you at the conclusion of your appointment. 

It is important that we have adequate notice if you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment, so that the appointment time can be offered to someone else. Late cancellation fees will be applied at the discretion of the business to accommodate exceptional circumstances and charged to your nominated credit card. 

We process zero touch payments at the end of the appointment. To do so, we collect credit card information via Stripe. Stripe adheres to stringent data security standards. Your card details and information will be securely stored by Stripe. Information stored by Stripe is confidential and is not shared directly with Kate Lyall Psychologist. Cards are used for the payment of fees only.

Your payment will be processed at the conclusion of your appointment and a receipt emailed to you.
